My name is Kayo Bogdan.
I am a Japanese living in Anchorage , AK since 2008.
My love of crochet and mushrooms has become Room with Shrooms in 2014 and started selling crocheted mushrooms.
Since then, I relearned knitting, learned spinning and dyeing yarns, and love to explorer fiber art techniques
The focus of my work has shifted from mushrooms to other things you see here in Alaska. I just want to share the love of this beautiful land through my fiber art.
My first local exhibit was a trunk show at the Blue Hollomon Gallery in November of 2014. I launched my vendor adventure as Room with Shrooms in May of 2015 at Spenard Farmers Market. I like to sell my creations in person at my booth. However, it has been hard this year, 2020. I finally launched Etsy shop.
